COLLECTION OF DATA

For some services (orders for e.g.), Baby Munchkins will require your e-mail address & phone number or other personal information such as your name, company, address etc. which are required to process an order only (not for marketing) Providing us with this personal and identifiable information is of course optional. However, in some cases it may not be possible for us to provide the service in question (i.e. deliver your order for e.g.) without receiving specific information from you.

DISCLOSURE OF DATA

Baby Munchkins will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information without your permission except under special circumstances, for instance if Baby Munchkins in good faith believes that the law requires disclosure.

We do provide your ‘notification details’ to our courier DPD Local so they can contact you with your delivery progress but that is all they use this information for, we also provide Reviews.co.uk with your email address to request a review from you but that is all this is used for and not further ‘passed on’. If you do not wish to be contacted once for this review of our service please notify us by email and we will ensure this does not happen

Any information collected by Baby munchkins will be treated confidentially.

When you provide Baby munchkins with personal information, that information may be sent electronically outside of the country where you originally entered the information. In addition, that information may be used, stored and processed outside of the country where you entered the information. Whenever Baby munchkins handles personal information, regardless of where this occurs, Baby Munchkins takes every precaution to ensure that your information is treated securely. We do not pass or sell any of your personal information to any one else outside of the delivery company we use (needed only for the delivery of your item) and the Independent reviews company can see your email address (to send you a verification email to prove you are ‘real’)

After you have placed an order we will only contact you with one email to say when your item is to arrive and once more when you have received your item to ask if everything was ok and ask you to review our service. If you do not wish this last email to be produced please inform us by email so we can ensure you do not get this.

Your information is then not used again and only held (electronically only) for a period as a purchase history for tax and vat purposes of the company as required by law.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100 per cent secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, Baby Munchkins cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Baby Munchkins, and you do so at your own risk as with all websites.
